I went through a time in my life when I felt like I was grieving a lot. So when I read in the Beatitudes in Matthew 5 that those who grieve are blessed, it made me wonder what that blessing would be.
I think one of the blessings we get is His presence with us in a stronger way, if we allow Him to comfort us in the grieving.
He gives us the grace and strength to endure things we normally would not be able to, and when we look to Him to guide us through, He never fails us.
This song came to me many years ago, and I was blessed to have my 3 adult children take part with me in this rendition.
It isn’t a normal human tendency to go through difficult things without questioning or complaining. But if we allow Jesus to teach us through the hard times, we can indeed rejoice. Why? Because He is the one who gives us the strength to withstand anything that comes to try to defeat us.
Seek Him and His peace through life’s trials and tribulations. As you do so, He will guide you through.
