In the early days after I was diagnosed with Lupus, my soul was in turmoil. How could I have an incurable disease? What would happen to my children when I died? They were all still so small! I cried out to God for comfort and help in the fear drowning me and He said I should memorize scripture, and His Word would bring healing. So I began to write songs from the scriptures I found gave me hope in the darkness. My Soul Wait in Silence is one of those songs. As I sang it, it helped me to focus my eyes on Jesus, instead of what was happening to my body. My prayer is that you too will be given hope as you listen to this song.
